Within three weeks time the
school will be sending a delegation made up of juniors and
seniors up to Manila to participate in the Model United
Nations Assembly. Last years participation in the assembly
was a great success.
Cerealicious, the second
semester vendor , was well received and the council is
hoping to either bring in Schwarma or Smokey’s for the third
quarter. We’ll keep you posted on this and try to have them
as soon as possible.

Status
of the school
We, the supreme
student council of cebu international school, feel that the
fulfillment of our objectives are on track. We have agreed
to endeavor to make a positive impact on the school for the
student body by working with the school administration to
recognize and try to fulfill the wants and needs of
students.
At this moment,
we are pleased with the school environment in general. We
have not received negative feedback from the student body on
any specific issue on safety, cleanliness, or other related
thing. As students, we too are content with our school.
Furthermore, no general problems exist between teachers and
students and we feel the faculty and administration are very
approachable.
School spirit
was one of the things we really wanted to work on when we
were first elected although not much has been achieved on
this front yet. We are working to bring the school closer
together through a number of things and events that are in
the works and we hope to be able to implement these things
successfully. We, however, have detected livelier
atmospheres when we have organized events and ran them
successfully and we will continue to do similar things.

Message
From the President:
Throughout my
life as a student, I have always exhibited a great deal of
admiration and respect towards the Supreme Student Council.
I have always imagined how it would be like to be in that
council, sitting in a position of greatness, having that
student body in the palm of my hand. Now, in my final year
of high school, I have finally made my childhood imagination
a reality. Today, I sit before the entire student body as
your current Student Council President. In all honesty,
being in this position is completely incoherent with what I
have imagined in the past. Being in the Supreme Student
Council is a relentless stream of responsibilities to
fulfill, deadlines to meet, and ideas to be made. The
combined effects of my school work and Student Council
obligations make my senior year a living hell. But do not
get me wrong; I am not trying to discourage others from
someday pursuing their ambitions of becoming a member of the
Student Council. In totality, I have to say that my
experience as president of the council has taught me some of
the more necessary life values and morals that are required
to live a harmonious and co-existent livelihood. Simply
put, the Supreme Student Council has made me a better
person.
So please allow
me to exercise the skills and morals I have acquired through
my experiences. With the combined efforts of my co-members,
we vow to strengthen the social bonds and learning
atmosphere around school.
