Cebu International School has recently reviewed our Philosophy, Mission and Vision statements and defined our Core Beliefs. We are very proud of what we have produced so please take the time to read them.
CIS PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
CIS believes that each child is unique and has potential that must be identified and nurtured. As citizens of the world we believe in the strong universal moral values of respect, integrity and social responsibility. CIS believes that learning is an open-ended process that continues throughout one's life, thus to manage change one needs to be a positive, resilient and flexible learner. CIS believes in the importance of collaboration between students, teachers and families to optimize the learning experience. Moreover, CIS believes a safe and supportive environment enables inquiring with risk taking and encourages teachers to teach at the highest quality possible.

The mission of CIS is to recognize and nurture potential, and empower all members of its community to have a positive impact on our changing world.

CIS will proudly be able to celebrate its place in the international education arena. Our students will be globally competitive and empowered to have a positive impact on a changing world. We envision a collaborative, safe and supportive school environment with a strong culture of high achievement. What we think, say and do will be guided by universal moral values.
