ADMISSION TO CEBU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Cebu International School (CIS) accepts students without regard to race or creed. CIS adheres to its mission and philosophy of high quality integrated and imbued with universal moral values.

Application for admission should be accompanied by previous school records. CIS requires a placement test to evaluate language, reading and mathematical skills.

Students are required to live with at least one, if not both, of the parents while the child is enrolled at CIS. Students whose parents live abroad may be admitted provided there is a written Affidavit of Guardianship signed by both the parents and guardians. It is understood that the designated guardians will be responsible for the child and will act for and on behalf of the parents on matters pertaining to the child’s education at CIS.

General admission criteria includes also the evaluation of qualifying test results, academic records from former school, recommendation from the former school; English language proficiency for regular students, and interview of the applicant as this may be needed.

Filipino applicants as members of the international community are most welcome to CIS. Those students envisioning attending colleges within the Philippines must consider the fact that certain course requirements need to be undertaken. The details will be explained during admission.

The school reserves the right to refuse admission to any student who does not meet all the admission requirements and criteria.
